Update: The Music Modernization Act was signed into law on Oct. 11, 2018!
One step closer to becoming law, the Music Modernization Act passed the Senate and is on its way to the House. This legislation will update music licensing rules that govern how songwriters are paid for their work. Justin Roberts testified at a Senate Hearing in favor of this bill earlier this year.
