Founded by Sarah McCarthy in 2013 to represent the best in family music, Dandelion Artists connects young audiences with authentic live performances that speak to the childhood experience. Our award-winning roster offers interactive family concerts, musical theater, student matinees, festival shows, orchestra programs and community workshops.
Sarah McCarthy has worked in the performing arts field for more than 20 years as an agent, presenter and producer. At Dandelion Artists, she books live engagements for her award-winning roster and has produced new works including NORTH, The Musical by Ashli St. Armant as well as the forthcoming York, The Explorer, a folk opera by Aaron Nigel Smith and Ordinary Folks by Ashli St. Armant. She is an alumni of the APAP Leadership Fellows Program (Cohort II), serves on the board of the Midwest Arts Xpo, and is a founding member of the TYA Tour Development Collective. As a presenter and arts administrator, she held positions at the Getty Center, the Ford Amphitheater, the Philadelphia International Children’s Theater Festival, and London’s Shakespeare's Globe. She lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with her husband and two daughters.
