23 Skidoo Takes Home the GRAMMY!

On a spectacular sunny Los Angeles day, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo went home with music’s biggest prize – the GRAMMY Award for Best Children’s Album of the Year. In a heartfelt speech, he dedicated the award to his daughter Saki, aka MC Fireworks, who is also featured on the album and has been rapping with her Dad since she was just five years old. He went on to acknowledge all of his fellow nominees, including Dandelion Artists’ the Okee Dokee Brothers, Recess Monkey and Frances England, and the community of children’s music artists who are making intelligent music for kids and families. Did we mention that all five nominees are 100% independent? It truly was a magical night and a well-deserved recognition of the work 23 Skidoo has been creating for over a decade.
